Introduction to Workflow

Training is conducted through a web-hosted lab environment. Each attendee will be given access to their own virtualized environment to follow along in the software. It is highly recommended that attendees have two screens so they can view both their virtualized environment and the instructor's screen at the same time. Login credentials and instructions will be communicated via email to each attendee prior to the training.

Automate repository actions with Workflow! Perfect for anyone new to Laserfiche and automation, this hands-on lab will showcase repository automation capabilities that can reduce repetitive manual tasks, streamline processes, and boost your efficiency.

In this training, we'll explore how workflow can standardize naming conventions on documents, handle document routing for approval and rejection, and create new content in the repository; all automatically! This course will teach you how to:

• Configure automated repository actions like moving and renaming documents
• Build conditional logic to automate decisions and direct process flows
• Streamline processes while learning foundational workflow concepts that can be used to build automated solutions in your organization

This is a beginner class! The target audience has minimal knowledge of Laserfiche Workflow but may be familiar with the repository. This course will be slower paced to allow attendees time to familiarize themselves with the interfaces. Attendees will configure most elements from scratch and repeat tasks to further cement the knowledge.

The materials presented in this course are applicable to both Laserfiche self-hosted and Laserfiche Cloud.

Cancellation Policy

In the event you cannot attend a training class, please contact us at events@laserfiche.com at least three business days prior to the class start date. Note Laserfiche is not open on weekends.

Cancelling at least three business days before class start: If you cancel your class registration at least three business days prior to the start of the class you may receive a full refund or credit for another class of equal or lesser value at a later date.

Cancelling less than three business days before class start: Unfortunately, no refunds, exchanges, or credits will be allowed if you cancel your class registration less than three business days before the start of class.

Cancellation by Laserfiche: Laserfiche reserves the right to cancel a training class for any reason. If Laserfiche cancels a training class, you will receive full credit for another class of equal or lesser value at a later date.
