Home - Using JavaScript and CSS in the Form Designer

Training is conducted through a web-hosted lab environment. Each attendee will be given access to their own virtualized environment to follow along in the software. It is highly recommended that attendees have two screens so they can view both their virtualized environment and the instructor's screen at the same time. Login credentials and instructions will be communicated via email to each attendee prior to the training.

This hands-on look at coding in Laserfiche Forms and Business Processes will introduce you to the new LFForm object to help standardize JavaScript and customizations in your forms. You'll see how to implement common use cases such as changing colors and styles, copying information between fields, and validating field input. This course will teach you how to:

Identify when to use CSS or JavaScript within a form
Customize the look and feel of your form using CSS
Modify form function and behavior with JavaScript and the LFForm object

The materials presented in this course are applicable to both Laserfiche self-hosted and Laserfiche Cloud. This is an intermediate course!

Attendees will get the most out of this course if they are familiar with Laserfiche Business Processes and Forms, but you do not need to know JavaScript or CSS to succeed in this course! If you're familiar with JavaScript and CSS, but not Laserfiche, this course may also be for you!

Cancellation by Laserfiche: Laserfiche reserves the right to cancel a training class for any reason. If Laserfiche cancels a training class, you will receive full credit for another class of equal or lesser value at a later date.
